This project started with a simple vision: create a comfortable outdoor space where the homeowner could relax, entertain, and fully enjoy their backyard. With no existing deck, NexGen Remodeling designed and built a brand-new rear deck—transforming the space into a functional extension of the home.
The deck was constructed using Trex Enhance Decking in the color Tide Pool, paired with sleek black railings for a clean, modern contrast. Trex® composite decking is engineered with a durable, protective shell that resists fading, staining, scratching, and mold, while maintaining the natural look of wood. Designed for low maintenance, it eliminates the need for sanding, staining, or sealing—making it an ideal long-term solution for outdoor living.
From concept to completion, NexGen handled every step of the process—including design, permitting, and installation—ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience. Working closely with Nick Freeth (Remodeling Consultant) and Steve Maggiera (Project Manager), the homeowner benefited from clear communication, thoughtful planning, and a team that remained attentive throughout the entire project.
The finished deck now provides the perfect setting for outdoor dining, relaxing evenings, and hosting guests—adding both enjoyment and value to the home. The homeowner was extremely pleased with the final result and especially appreciated the strong communication and smooth process from start to finish.
