NexGen Remodeling completed a full composite deck replacement in Quakertown, PA, transforming an aging wooden deck into a customized, low-maintenance outdoor living space designed around the homeowners’ pool, hot tub, and backyard entertaining areas.
Working with Scott Mcinerney, as Remodeling Consultant, and Steve Magiera, as Project Manager, our team demolished the existing wood deck and replaced it with durable Trex® composite decking, new stairs leading directly to the pool area, and black aluminum railings for a clean, modern finish.This project was designed to make the homeowners’ entire backyard work better together. In addition to rebuilding the main deck and stairs, our team incorporated several custom features that turned the space into a true outdoor entertainment area.
Our craftsmen custom-built decking around the homeowners’ existing hot tub, carefully integrating it into the new deck layout for a more cohesive and finished appearance. The design creates convenient access to the hot tub while visually connecting it with the rest of the outdoor living space.
We also constructed a custom overlook pool bar using coordinating Trex materials. Positioned to overlook the surrounding outdoor landscape, the bar creates a dedicated place for serving drinks, gathering with family and friends, or simply sitting back and enjoying the backyard.New deck stairs provide a natural connection between the upper outdoor living area and the pool below, improving the flow and functionality of the backyard during summer entertaining.
The decking is complemented by black aluminum railings, adding contrast and a streamlined appearance while helping preserve views of the backyard and surrounding landscape.
From the main deck and pool-access stairs to the custom hot tub surround and outdoor bar, every element was thoughtfully incorporated to create one connected backyard experience.
