The 4 Phases of a Seamless Home Remodel

Phase 1

The Kickoff – Setting Up for a Smooth Remodel

Here’s where the magic begins! We’ll work closely with you to understand your vision and prepare every detail for a smooth process. With the NexGen Home Pro™ app, you’ll stay informed and connected with your Project Manager every step of the way.

Step 1: Project Onboarding

Estimated Timeline: 1–5 Days

Your project is officially underway! As soon as you become a customer, your Customer Relationship Manager will welcome you and provide next steps. At the same time, your Remodeling Consultant will finalize details with your Project Manager, who will schedule the Pre-Install Inspection to confirm measurements and project specifics.

Step 2: Pre-Install Inspection

Estimated Timeline: 1–7 Days

During this inspection, you’ll meet your experienced Project Manager, who will be your main point of contact throughout the project. They’ll finalize measurements, review details, and ensure everything is set. Our past customers have enjoyed working with them, and we’re confident you will too.

Phase 2

Project Planning – Laying the Groundwork for Success

During this inspection, you’ll meet your experienced Project Manager, who will be your main point of contact throughout the project. They’ll finalize measurements, review details, and ensure everything is set. Our past customers have enjoyed working with them, and we’re confident you will too.

Step 3: Material Ordering

Estimated Timeline: 1–3 Days

We’ll confirm your material order with our distributor. With materials confirmed, we place the order, ensuring we’re ready to hit the ground running once materials arrive.

Step 4: Architectural Drawings

Estimated Timeline: 5–10 Days (if required)

Our in-house architect will draft and complete the drawings required for permitting. Drawings will meet all code and compliance requirements. If no architect is required, we’ll move forward, saving valuable time.

Step 5: Permits

Estimated Timeline: 2-4 Weeks (if required)

Once the permit paperwork is prepared, we’ll handle the submission process and, once approved, work with you to schedule material delivery and installation. If permits aren’t needed, we’ll jump right into installation.

Phase 3

Project Execution – Bringing Your Vision to Life

With everything in place, it’s time to bring your vision to life! We’ll work quickly to ensure your remodel stays on track, delivering your vision on time.

Step 6: Material Delivery

Estimated Timeline: 0-48 Hours Prior to Start

Once your materials are ready, we’ll work with you to schedule their delivery. Many of our suppliers stock the most frequently used products, which is why we partner with these local, USA-made manufacturers. After your materials arrive, we’ll schedule installation within 48 hours. You’re just one step away from seeing your transformation come to life!

Step 7: Seamless Installation

Estimated Timeline: 1–7 Days

The exciting part begins! Our team will start installing, and soon enough, you’ll see your home start to take shape – exactly how you envisioned it. We’ll work with precision, care, and efficiency to bring your dream to life. From start to finish, we’ll keep the momentum going without any breaks in the timeline, ensuring there are no delays and your project stays on track until it’s 100% complete.

Phase 4

Phase 4: Project Completion – The Finishing Touches

Everything comes together in this phase. We’ll ensure every detail is perfect, and we’ll work closely with you to guarantee you’re completely satisfied with your remodeled space.

Step 8: Customer Walkthrough

Estimated Timeline: Immediately Following completion

We’ll schedule a final walkthrough with you to ensure everything is just the way you want it. Your Project Manager will personally meet with you to review every detail and confirm the work meets your expectations. We’ll also work with you to ensure all warranty paperwork is submitted, so you’re fully covered for peace of mind.

Step 9: Final Payment & Completion

Estimated Timeline: Immediately Following Completion

Your project is officially complete! We’re so happy to have worked with you and can’t wait for you to enjoy your beautiful new space.

After dealing with multiple leaks, we hired NexGen to remove stucco off of the back of our house and install vinyl siding. They also replaced a faulty window.

We paid exactly what was quoted to us originally (plus a small additional fee for the city permit, which they coordinated and let us know about in advance).

They showed up on time, every day (weather permitting) until the job was done and the office staff were responsive to every question we had at every step of the process.
